2007 YOUTH SPEAKING
Each year, prior to the convention, the UARCD holds speaking competitions for students in grades 9 through 12. The board and staff would like to thank Jolene for her time and effort put into her speech.
UARCD conducts an annual youth speaking competition for grade 9-12 students throughout the district. Students must speak for approximately 5-7 minutes on a conservation-related topic. Cash prizes are awarded to participants. Local competitors must be residents of The Upper Assiniboine River Conservation District. Winners from each conservation district compete, at the MCDA's Annual Forum, for the provincial title. Thank you to all have supported this program by participating, judging, helping or sponsoring.
